Remarks:

gentamicine maximaal 72 uur in afwachting van kweken

General comments

Empirische therapie alleen starten indien hemodynamisch instabiel of bij ernstige of progressive neurologische symptomen. In overige gevallen microbiologische diagnostiek afwachten.

Op basis van kliniek, verwekkerd en geschikte orale optie switch van i.v. naar p.o. therapie

Totale behandelduur minimaal 6 weken
