General comments
Voor ingrepen die ná incisie van de huid langer dan één uur duren wordt een dosering cefazoline 2gr eenmalig aanbevolen.
Bij een BMI >40 wordt 3g cefazoline gegeven
Wanneer bij koorts durante partu therapie is gestart met ceftriaxon 1 dd 2000 mg en metronidazol 3 dd 500 mg hoeft er bij een sectio binnen 24 uur na start antibiotica geen extra profylaxe te worden gegeven wegens de lange halfwaarde tijd van beide middelen.
Wanneer bij GBS dragerschap penicilline profylaxe gegeven wordt dient bij een sectio de chirurgische profylaxe volgens protocol gegeven te worden.
